New Items: tiny post earrings

I've been making these teeny, tiny post earrings. They are all made from pearls or gemstone beads that range from 3.5-4.5mm in size and are all wire wrapped by me with either copper, sterling silver or gold filled wire. Tiny earrings are perfect for young girls, ladies who prefer the dainty look in earrings and second piercings. The pearl styles especially are suitable for bridesmaids.  Pictured are a few that I already have listed in my shops and I'm in the process of photographing and listing more.

What I made in my marathon class

Yesterday I took a class on learning to set stones in wire wrapped settings. The class was 11 1/2 hours long. Exhausting. I came away having made this pendant. I love the crazy lace agate stone and chose a simple setting for it so that the stone is the star of the piece.

I'm looking forward to using my newly learned skills in my upcoming designs.

NEW item

I just finished this beautiful black keishi pearl necklace. Keishi pearls are also called petal pearls due to their flower petal shape.

Classically hand-knotted with tiny coils of French wire covering the bead cord at the clasp for extra durability.
Find it in my on-line store and also in my Etsy shop
I also carry this style of necklace in white pearls and natural pink pearls.

Just the basics

In my on-line shops I'm gradually increasing the number of pendants I make. Therefore, I'm also stocking up on some basic chains that are great for pendants. I'm rather picky about pendant chains. They need to be comfortable, strong and classic to go with various styles of pendants.

My PERFECT black twisted necklace cord is 18 inches and looks like twisted silk cord, but it really tough black rubber. The end caps are solid sterling silver instead of the usual plated. It looks great with many styles of pendants.

I've had this smooth sterling silver snake chain in 20 inches in my shop for a long time. It's simple and sturdy and has a small end cap for pendants to slide over. I'm now carrying a slightly thinner version in 18 inches as well.

I've been looking for a thin, bright copper chain for my copper pendants. I just couldn't find one. Most copper chain is bulkier. I finally found a supply of unfinished 2mm bright copper curb chain and bought the last they had. I finished the chain myself with a small lobster claw clasp and it makes a great pendant chain. I have 18 inch lengths in my shops, but can make custom lengths as well.
