White spruce that my husband and son cut at a tree farm this year. A lot of it had to be trimmed so that it wouldn't hit the ceiling at it was 14 ft when they brought it in. I like a tree with open branches. We collect trinkets from our travels around the world to use as ornaments on our tree. I thought I'd photograph a few this year.
ornaments from Peru
Ornaments from Alaska and Hawaii
Ornaments from Cambodia
Homemade ornaments, from Asia, ornaments with special meaning & Caleb with his own small tree and ornament collection
what a gorgeous tree! And I love all the precious ornaments--they are beautiful! :) I like the space in the tree, too--we got used to those in Germany--and the ones we buy here are so very full. :)
Beautiful! I do the same thing...instead of collecting other trinkets, I collect ornaments from my travels around the world too. It's fun to pull them out every year and remember all of the places I have gone.
Thanks for the inspiration Sue...I did a blog post about my trees too. They are so entirely different from your style, but I thought you would like to see them:

ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous tree! Thanks for sharing your home decorations. We don't have room for a real tree this year, so it is nice to see someone else's.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! And it is so wonderful the ornaments you have collected. Memories are so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your trees are so special! Thank you for sharing this with us.
