Recently I talked about versatile knock knock jokes that you can change easily depending on circumstances.  Here is another one of those:

Since "Teddy" substitues for the word "Today," you can always change it to something like:

Teddy is a good day to work in the yard.

Teddy is a fine day to pick up all your toys.

Teddy is a great day to go to the dentist.

You get the idea :-)

NEW item

Not everything in my shop is handmade.  Sometimes I just run across nice items from my suppliers that I know my customers would like. That is why you'll find magnetic converter clasps, chains for pendants, donut bails and prayer boxes on my websites. Now I'd like to show you my newest convenience item:  jewelry polishing cloths.

Since I sell a lot of pearl jewelry, I needed a special cloth that would allow me to polish up the ear wires, clasps, chains and other tarnished components without damaging the delicate pearls. These are not impregnated with abrasive jewelers' "rouge." They are a soft, lint-free cloth with a a bit of a texture. They'll easily take off light tarnish from silver and fingerprints from gemstones.

The great thing about these is that you can wash and re-use. I'm selling them in sets of two so you can have one in your jewelry box and one in your travel kit--or give one to a friend.

So, I've created a Foolish Friday publicity hound. Caleb had to get into the act and brought this home from school for me--a knock knock joke he wrote. Notice he even used the two color format that I use.

NEW items! Dragonflies

What could be more enchanting than this beautiful copper and glass dragonfly that looks like it has come to rest? Jewel-like in real life, dragonflies have long been considered to be a fantastic motif for jewelry and hair ornaments.

I've been working on these for a while and it didn't come easy.  How to make little wire wrapped dragonflies that were functional, didn't look like any others and were pretty? I used up yards of copper wire working out the design and I'm finally happy with them.

These are copper, but I can make them in gold color wire for the same price or upgrade them to sterling silver or gold filled wire. 

And what did I do with all of my reject designs?  They're hanging around somewhere . . .

This was a happy accident. I snapped the photo in passing thinking that the light was not right, but it turned out to be pretty with light shinning through the leaves. Even if it's not perfectly composed, the color of that tiny rose is glorious.

Knock knock jokes can be useful if you know how to adapt them to the situation. Take the following for instance:

Police.

Police who ?

Police stop telling me these awful knock knock jokes !

Since "police" substitutes directly for the word "please" you can change the ending to anything you like. For example:  

"Police stop making so much noise in the back seat because I'm trying to drive"

"Police finish your homework or you will be sitting there until next Tuesday."

"Police stopping making faces at your sister or you will be getting a time out."
